Meet the Team
Kathy—Victor of Versatility
As our office administrator Kathy is the perfect blend of assertiveness and professionalism. She is our dental implant and Exploring Excellence Study Club Coordinator. She can help you with anything from scheduling your procedures to communicating with your general dentist about the various stages of your treatment.
Kathy is very active in community service organizations and a constant support of her son’s academic and sports activities. She is a scrap-booking enthusiast and enjoys spending any free time she has in her scrap booking room.
Carrie—Compassionate Coordinator
Carrie joined the crew after graduating from the dental assisting program at Lane Community College. Carrie is our Template monitor and she is also a Certified Dental Assistant. Her versatility and adaptability help her to flow between various roles in our practice effortlessly. Her proficiency with accessing insurance information helps to boost the level of care and expediency of claims processing for our patients.
Carrie also enjoys spending time with her family at her children’s various sporting activities. Carrie loves to travel and has been to many countries and states but has not checked all of the destinations off her list.
Cheryl—Cordial Commerce Commissioner
We utilize Cheryl’s years of customer service experience here in our office. She greets everyone that comes through our doors with a smile, and is always eager to hear a great story when someone wants to share it.
Cheryl’s home (in the outlying Eugene area) was built by her husband’s family, when they arrived after a long journey on the wagon train during the early to mid 1800’s. If you are here during the summer you may see some of the amazing flower arrangements that she brings from her beautiful yard where she spends most of her time (weather permitting). Cheryl is very involved in her local community including fundraisers and preparing meals for, “Ag in the Classroom.” Her love of travel has taken her on many exciting adventures with her numerous traveling companions.
Haley—Organizational Opportunist
Haley joined our team after graduating with her Bachelor of Arts from Henderson State University in Arkansas. Haley brings great organization and coordinating skills to our front office staff and you might even see her in the back helping out every once in a while as well. She helps our office run more efficiently by giving everything a certain place and protocol. Her energetic, upbeat attitude can brighten anyone’s day.
Haley was born and raised in Springfield and is a true Oregonian at heart. She played basketball in college and has always had a love for sports, but Oregon Duck football holds a special place in her heart. On a fall afternoon, rain or shine, if the Ducks are playing at home, Haley is at Autzen stadium with her family. GO DUCKS!
Haley—High-Spirited Hostess
Haley is the first face you will see when you enter our office as she is our front desk receptionist. You can be assured that you will always be greeted with a smile and warm welcome. Growing up in Dallas, Texas before moving out to Oregon in her early teenage years, she has held on to the southern hospitality and her energy is contagious. Haley takes care of everything up in the front of our office such as checking in patients, taking care of insurance information, scheduling, and everything else in between. She keeps our team on track and running smoothly in order to give all of our patients a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Haley is full of life and enjoys sunny summer days full of outdoor activities. She is especially fond of her pug MaKyah, watching movies, going biking, and spending time surrounded by friends, family, and laughter.
Shiloh—Fantastic Flexibility
Shiloh joined our team one week after graduating from the Dental Assisting program at Lane Community College. She is very versatile in our office. You may see her during your surgery or she could be the person who answers the phone and takes your appointment.
Shiloh is very involved in her church and her family is the center of her life. She enjoys reading and may grill you about your book if you bring one in for your visit. Shiloh enjoys fitness activities especially riding her bike to and from work in the nice weather.
Tracey—Conqueror of Chaos
A team member who’s been there from the start, Tracey is the Lead Assistant at the practice. She oversees ordering of clinical materials and is responsible for compliance of OSHA regulations. Tracey has a sharp eye for detail and cares for our patients in a competent and compassionate manner. She has developed a sixth sense for anticipating and detecting Dr. Welch’s needs while assisting him in clinical treatment. We call it "Timopathy".
Tracey lives with her husband near Eugene where they enjoy the serenity of nature and raising animals.
Brandy—Breathtaking Boldness
Brandy assists Dr. Welch with an outgoing and energetic attitude. She knew that she wanted to be in the dental field when she graduated from Thurston High School. Her can do attitude and drive for perfection helped her join our team.
Brandy’s love of sports and the outdoors drives her to never turn down exciting new challenges. During the fall she can be found at most football games cheering for our Ducks and soaking up the exciting atmosphere. She recently became a home owner and loves everything that comes along with owning your own house, minus the yard work. Brandy also loves playing with her English Bull dog, “Dexter,” who besides her wonderful beau, Kevin, is the love of her life.
Nanci—Kindness Incarnate
We are honored to have Nanci on our team. Among the many gifts she has, she has a special instinct for perceiving others’ needs as she gracefully supports patients throughout their treatment process. Nanci is her family’s 5th generation to live in Coburg and very active in the community and her three boys sports and extra-curricular activities. No matter if it’s rain or shine you are most likely to find Nanci rooting on one of her boys from the comfort of her lawn chair and blanket.
Nanci is our primary recovery room assistant. Her ability to put all of our patients at ease while they recover is one in a million. You can be assured that after a little time with Nanci all your questions and concerns will be dissolved and you will leave our office feeling well cared for and appreciated.
Becky—Poised Protector
With a strong background in assisting various types of dental procedures, Becky joined our team in 2005 and has been a wonderful support for patients and team alike. A self-proclaimed "country girl" with a love for Jeeps, Harleys and Dachshunds, Becky fares consistently well in our high-tech clinical environment. With a smile that never leaves her face and a clever saying always on the tip of her tongue, Becky keeps everyone’s spirits high. If you need a helping hand, a laugh, or just want to ride on the back of a custom hog, Becky’s your choice.
Traci—Humble Humanitarian
With a big heart and a soft smile, Traci is a great assistant to Dr. Welch and our staff. She recently joined our team after graduating from Lane Community College. She is an incredibly fast learner, who has picked up all the ins and outs of our practice in record time. You will most likely meet her on your first visit to our office, as she sits with you to answer all your questions and prepare you for your consult with Dr. Welch. Her warm demeanor is both inviting and sure to put all your cares at ease.
Traci is true animal lover, and if she had it her way, would try to save everything from a dog to a ferret. Her true joy in life is her daughter Gracelyn. She loves camping, her pets, going for walks, and spending as much time with her family as she can.
Karen—Purposeful Perfectionist
Karen is our newest addition to our team. She grew up in Eugene and graduated from the Dental Assisting program at Lane Community College. She is very poised in high pressure situations and her attention and drive to learn has allowed her to quickly acquire all of her responsibilities in our office and fit right in with the pros.
Karen is fun loving, down to earth, and up for anything. She is constantly smiling or laughing. Her family is everything to her and she values her parents and brother above everything else in her life. She enjoys playing softball, working out, singing, camping, and any activities with her family.
